Privacy policy

What information Voxprints collects, why, who it's shared with, and how you stay in control of it.
The short version
- We collect what we need to make and deliver your prints: your name, email, order details, files and messages.
- We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
- A few trusted services store or process it for us (listed below).
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What we collect
When you order or create an account
- Your name and email address.
- If you sign in with Google: your Google profile picture.
- Order details: what you want made, notes, filament and colour choices, promo codes, quotes, prices and order status.
- Files you upload: 3D models, images and documents, including files attached to messages.
- Messages between you and us on your order page.
- Your store credit balance and how it's been used.
- Payment records: whether and how an order was paid or refunded, the amount, and Stripe's reference for the payment. If you pay by card, Stripe collects your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- That you agreed to our terms when you placed your order.
Automatically, to keep the site working
- Error reports. If something breaks on a page, the site sends us a report so we can fix it. A report includes the page address (with personal details in the address removed), your browser and device type, screen size, and the last few things clicked on the page. It doesn't include anything you typed. It also includes a random ID stored in your browser, so we can tell when the same problem happens repeatedly, and your account ID if you're signed in.
- Things saved in your browser. Your sign-in session, dark-mode preference, the site look for your visit, and that random error-report ID are stored in your browser's local storage. They aren't used for advertising or to track you across other websites.
We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To quote, design, print and hand over your order.
- To contact you about your order, including emailing you your private order link.
- To run your account, apply promo codes and track store credit.
- To take payments and give refunds.
- To fix problems, keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
- To keep business records we're required to keep.
We use AI tools to help our small team manage orders. For example, an assistant can summarise orders and messages or look up an order's details for us. Your order details and messages may be processed by that service when we use it. We don't use it to make automatic decisions about you.
What other visitors can see
The "Recent activity" section of our home page shows the first name of recent customers and the kind of item they ordered (for example "Sam ordered a custom print"). It never shows surnames, emails or files. If you'd rather not appear there, email us and we'll hide your orders from it.
Anyone who has your private order link can see that order and its messages, so please don't share it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, messages and account details for as long as you have an account or an order with us, and afterwards for as long as we reasonably need them for records, warranty questions and tax obligations (usually up to 5 years). We keep uploaded files while your order is active and for a while afterwards in case you want a reprint. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Error reports are deleted once they're no longer useful for fixing problems.
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored with the providers above, and access is limited to the people who run Voxprints. Order links are long and random so they can't be guessed. No system is perfectly secure, though. If we ever learn of a breach that's likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Your choices and rights
- See or correct the information we hold about you. You can update your name from the menu once you're signed in.
- Delete your account, files or order history, unless we need to keep something by law.
- Opt out of appearing in "Recent activity".
Email josh@voxprints.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can clear what's stored in your browser at any time through your browser settings. This signs you out.
Young customers
If you're under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before ordering or creating an account.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your information, email josh@voxprints.com and we'll try to sort it out. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if how we handle information changes, and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let account holders know.
